Description

The Fleet Industrial Supply Center Norfolk Detachment Philadelphia intends to acquire on a 100% Small Business Set Aside basis, interpretation services of Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scans in support of the Radiology Department at the Naval Hospital Great Lakes, IL. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with the FAR Subpart 13.5 test program procedures for commercial items. The Contractor is responsible for performing interpretation of MRI scans received at their facility either digitally via teleradiology or via courier service. It is anticipated that approximately 30 MRI scans will be performed at Naval Hospital Great Lakes per week. The cost of receipt from, and return to, the Medical Treatment Facility (MTF) of MRI scans shipped via courier service shall be borne by the Contractor. A Firm Fixed Price procurement is anticipated with a base period of performance commencing 01 October 2000 through 30 September 2001, with four (4), one (1) year option provisions. The Request for Quotation may require the submission of price and technical offers. The applicable Standard Industrial Classification code for this acquisition is 8099. All responsible sources may request the Request for Quotation and submit an offer, which shall be considered by FISC Norfolk Detachment Philadelphia.
