Description

Paint 4 stairwells and replace handrails at Charleston Naval Hospital. SIC# 1721. This is a total small business set-aside. Estimated between $25,000 and $100,000.00. Contractor responsible for taking own field measurements, a scheduled site visit is mandatory. Contact John Lindsey at 843-764-4112 ext. 3056 to make appointment for scheduled site visit. No site visits will be given after 22SEP00. (1) Paint interior stairwells and replace handrails at Charleston Naval Hospital, Charleston, SC. (2) Provide all labor, materials, equipment and supervision to paint walls, replace handrails in four stairwells. (3) Stairwell #2 has a roof hatch for ventilation. Contractor must address method to ventilate area for workers, patients and staff. (4) Work schedule shall require that only one stairwell be out of service at one time. (5) All walls and ceilings in each of the stairwells shall be properly prepred, per manufacturer's specifications, and re-surfaced using water-based epoxy paint. Contractor must be registered in the central contractor registration IAW FAR 52.232-33.*****
