Description

This action will be procured on a sole source basis from O'Gara-Hess & Eisenhardt Armoring Company (OHEAC), Fairfield, Ohio. The acquisition will be a three-year requirements type contract with two one-year options. The contract will include a combination of Firm Fixed Price, Cost Reimbursable and Time and Materials CLINS. The Government intends to acquire spare parts, supplies, and technical services, including travel, as necessary to support the Up-Armored Family of Vehicles (XM1109, M1097 Armored "Kit Truck", M1114 Up-Armored HMMWV). Technical services may include training, retrofit application and quality inspection, demilitarization, field service representatives to support repairs/retrofits, etc. This action does not include any parts currently stocked or that are readily available through the Army Inventory System. This will be a three-year basic requirements contract with two one year options. See Note 22. Alpha contracting procedures will be used.
