Description

It is the Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Norfolk Naval Shipyard Annex,intend to procure for various quantities and sizes of butterfly valves, in accordance with Mil-V-24624 and Qualified Product List (QPL). Provisioning Technical Documentation (PTD) and shock tests(Mil-S-901)will also be required. FOB is destination at the Norfolk Naval Shipyard, Portsmouth, Virginia. The SIC code is 3491 and the size standard is 500. This requirement is being procured utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures as set forth in FAR Part 13 and authorized in FAR Part 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Products. RYG is applicable to this quotation. Closing date for Request for Quotation will be specified in the RFQ when issued. Request for quotation packages will be accepted via regular or expedited mail service to Purchase Division, Code 531.4C, Attn: Cindi Newcomb, Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Norfolk Naval Shipyard Annex, Bldg. 1500, 2nd floor, Portsmouth, VA 23709-5000. Requests must state the quotation number, address for the RFQ to be mailed in addition a point of contact and phone/fax number. Fax and/or phone requests are not allowed and will not be considered. Importance Notice: DFARS 252.204.7004 "REQUIRED CENTRAL CONTRACTOR REGISTRATION" applies. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make an offeror/quoter ineligible for award.
