Description

This is a combined synopsis/Solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are solicited with this notice. A written quotation will not be issued. This solicitation is a 100% for small business set-aside; the associated Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code is 3663 (Size: 750 Employees). The quotation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 97-19. The Television-Audio Support Activity intends to procure the following items: CLIN 0001: Ten (10)each, Gel systems p/n BM27480-01, student console C/O student booth (CS-15C) student level IV amplifier (CA-15VGA2), headset/microphone HM7 (13526-08), personal computer multimedia, w/DVD, 14-in monitor power outlet, keyboard, mouse, cables and interconnecting/miscellaneous hardware and 180 watt uninterruptible power supply (BP280SI). CLIN 0002: One (1) each, Gel systems p/n BM27496-10, LAN kit, LAN for 10 positions w/online access; O/C 16 port Hub, 11 each NIC cards/MGMT adapters, 1 each, router/server (TI), 1 each websense licenses (25min), 1 year extended warranty, 11 each, 50-ft CAT-5 cables, and 1 each, 6-ft CAT-5 cable; f/u/w Gel System level iv language lab systems. CLIN 0003: One (1) each, Gel systems p/n BM27495-01 includes 1 each, computer, keyboard and mouse, 1 each 15-in LCD panel, 1 each, multi-format VHS/VCR, 1 each, VGA program monitor switch, 1 each, VGA line amplifier and 1 each 280VA (180W) UPS. The delivery is 60 days after contract award. Destination point is Nortex International INC., Orange, TX. The Government anticipates negotiating and entering into a contract on a sole source basis with Gel System Inc., 68 Vine Street, Everett, MA. under the authority of FAR Clause 13.106-1 (b) the only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirement. However, all responsible sources may submit a quote, which shall be considered by the agency. Responses to this notice must be provided in writing. All responses to this notice must make reference to quotation number HQ0028-0243-8653. The provisions at FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to offerors-Commercial Items, and 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items apply to this acquisition. The evaluation criteria for this solicitation will consist of technical capability of the offeror to meet the agency requirement, past performance and price. Technical capability and past performance when combined are more important than price. To be eligible to receive an award resulting from this quotation, contractor must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database, NO EXCEPTIONS.
