U S Army Material Command Acquisition Center, White Sands Division, White Sands Missile Range solicits quotations for purchase of: Item 0001: RF Traveling Wave Tube Amplifier. Quantity: 1 each. RF Traveling Wave Tube Amplifier, freq. 2 -- 4 GHz output 250 to 300 watts continuous wave, single phase power, 120VAC 50/60HZ GPIB IEEE-488 remote control, RF sample of output, rear panel RF input/output connectors VSWR protection, gain control. Item 0002: RF Traveling Wave Tube Amplifier. Quantity: 1 each. RF Traveling wave tube amplifier, Freq. 26.5 -- 40 GHZ output 40 to 45 watts continuous wave, single phase power, 120VAC 50/60HZ GPIB IEEE-488 remote control, RF sample of output, rear panel RF input/output connectors VSWR protection, gain control. The Standard Industrial Classification Code is 3663. Delivery is FOB Destination, which will be to Bldg 1840, White Sands Missile Range, NM, 88002-5197, M-F: W43HZD, within 30 days after award. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is DAAD07-00-R-0219 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ), with award being "subject to availability of funds". Quotations, with certifications and representations, and Tax Identification Number (TIN) shall be submitted before 22 September 2000, 1400 hours MTZ. The solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-19. This solicitation incorporates the following Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) provisions: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial, FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items. This solicitation also incorporates Defense FAR Supplement (DFARS) clause 252.2252-7000, Buy American Act Balance of Payments Program Certificate. The awarded contract will incorporate the following FAR clauses: FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items (May 1999); and FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Commercial Items (Aug 2000), including 52.203-6, 52.222-21, 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, 52.222-37, and 52.232-33. The awarded contract will also incorporate the following DFARS clauses: DFARS 252.212-7001 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to implement Statutes or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisition of Commercial Items (Aug 2000), including 252.205-7000, 252.225-7001, and 252.247-7023.
