Description

Furnish all plant, labor, material, tools, equipment, transportation and all operations necessary to remove existing and furnish and install a new pool liner at the Base Pool at Hanscom AFB, MA. The Base Pool is an outdoor pool with the following approximate depth and dimensions: Depth is 3' to 12' with an area of 48' of 5' depth in between. Length of the pool is 164' 2" and width is 54' 2" with an area of 45' of the length of the pool projecting out 21' at center of the pool. In order to be eligible for award, the pool material supplier and the actual pool membrane manufacturer shall have been engaged in the manufacture of PVC Membranes for use in Swimming Pools for a minimum of Ten Years. A signed and notarized certificate from the actual PVC Membrane manufacturer (not a distributor, contractor supplier or reseller) certifying that the manufacturer meets this minimum 10 year specification shall be provided with the offer. The on site supervisor shall be certified by the manufacturer in installing PVC Membrane materials and shall have a minimum of two years experience welding PVC Membranes for pool applications. This request is issued using commercial practices in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. This is a 100% small business set-aside. The Standard Industrial Code (SIC) is 3949 and the small business size standard is 500 employees. This procurement will be a firm-fixed price simplified acquisition procedure.
