Description

An Indefinite Delivery Type Contract (IDTC) for a minimum quantity of 20,000 ea/maximum quantity of 50,000 ea Jackets, Cold Weather, Navy is anticipated. Two-365 Day Term Options will be included with same minimum and maximum quantities. Delivery locations: SNT (New Cumberland, PA) and AQ5 (San Joaquin). This is a new item under Purchase Description NCTRF PD 4-99 dated 13JUN00 and replaces Jacket, CW produced under MIL-J-21708G. All components shall be furnished by the contractor. Best Value/Source Selection procedures will be utilized. Offerors are to submit technical proposal with documentation for the following technical factors: Product Demonstration Model (PDM), Experience/Past Performance, Manufacturing Plan, Quality Assurane Plan, Socioeconomic Considerations, DLA Mentoring Business Agreement and JWOD (Javits-Wagner-O'Day Act). Solicitation will be issued unrestricted to all concerns expressing and interest in submitting an offer. Please note that a First Article will also be required prior to production.
