Description

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), Plant and Protection and Quarantine (PPQ) Pink Bollworm Rearing Facility (PBWRF), has a need for 14,500 pounds of powdered agar U.S.P./NF. A firm, fixed-price, definite-quantity contract with a unilateral option to purchase an additional 2,000 pounds is anticipated. Sealed bids shall be submitted to the Contrating Activity by the date and time indicated in the invitation for bid (IFB)which is anticipated to be 2:30 P.M., Central Time, on October 25, 2000. A one (1) pound bid sample shall be delivered to Phoenix, Arizona, by the date and time of the bid opening. The address to ship the bid sample will be designated in the solicitation. Product delivery shall be f.o.b. destination to Phoenix, Arizona. The guaranteed quantity is required on or January 3, 2001. This acquisition is a 100% small business set-aside.
