Description

AH-64D Longbow Apache Program Fiscal Year (FY) 01 requires the completion of qualification of SIRFC on a production aircraft, to include the fabrication of one (1) complete A-Kit. The Government intends to award a delivery order to contract DAAH23-98-G-0049 to sole source contractor McDonnell douglas Helicopter Company, doing business as (dba) McDonnell Douglas Helicopter systems, Mesa, AZ 85215-9797 under the authority and Justification for Other than full and Open Competition of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), only one source or a limited number of responsible sources are able to satisfy agency requirements. There is no technical data package and no solicitation will be issued. This is a follow-on requirement for the Longbow Apache requirement. Interested sources are encouraged to identify themselves in writing to the contracting officer. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by the agency.
