- Description
- Professional services to support the U.S.- Asian Environmental Program Project (US-AEP) to consist of : Project Management Services -- establishment of a project management office to manage activities under the technical services and technical assistance services components as well as provide overarching strategy for all technical services programming; development and management of a program to use partnerships (U.S. -Asia and Asia -- U.S.) and networks to achieve program goals. Services also include technical assistance and training in the form of assistance to U.S. and Asian firms to develop skills to evaluate and implement effective environmental practices and technology with a focus on the industrial sector, technology transfer and investment promotion as well as assistance to U.S. and Asian firms in the development of trade and investment opportunities in environmental technology and services. Other services will include administrative and logistical support to the US-AEP, with general program support, as well as travel management, and communications and information services. The SIC code for this procurement is 541990 in accordance with the Small Business Size Standards matched to North American Industry Classisfication System (NAICS) effective October 1, 2000. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. The closing date for the RFP will be November 21, 2000.
