Description

This sources sought announcement is issued for the purpose of identifying sources for systems engineering, integration, logistics and technical management support to the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Charleston (SPAWAR System Center Charleston or SSC), Air Traffic Control Systems Engineering Division. This effort includes numerous electronic system projects in Airspace Landing Systems, Navigation Aids, Surveillance, Air Traffic Systems (ATS), Communications, Meteorology, and Logistics as well as their application to procedures, environment, systems, and management. These efforts support the Department of Defense (DOD), Federal Aviation Administation (FAA), and other agencies. The responsibilities of the SSCC Air Traffic Control Systems Engineering Division include systems integration, engineering, planning, research, logistics, management, and the execution of tasks assigned by the Naval Air Systems Command, the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command, the Joint Program Office, and other government and non-government agencies. Assignments often require that these responsibilities overlap in scope and may include additional requirements and responsibilities. THIS SYNOPSIS IS FOR INFORMATION AND PLANNING PURPOSES AND IS NOT TO BE CONSTRUED AS A COMMITMENT BY THE GOVERNMENT. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. NO REIMBURSEMENT WILL BE MADE FOR ANY COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH PROVIDING INFORMATION IN RESPONSE TO THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. RESPONDENTS DEEMED FULLY QUALIFIED WILL BE CONSIDERED IN ANY RESULTING SOLICITATION FOR THE REQUIREMENT.
