Description

The Department of Defense Education Activity (DODEA) intends to award a contract on a sole source basis using FAR Part 12, Commercial Items using simplified acquisition procedures to the Education Development Center (EDC), 55 Chapel St., Newton, MA 02158. EDC will provide collaborative planning, analyze school action plans, conduct training, collect resources, develop materials, conduct site specific school coaching/training based on each school's readiness level and provide continuous follow-up support. These services must build on the EDC's developed curriculum established around the seven areas of focus for these schools' improvement efforts. Successful support will require continuous study of each school's current status, opportunities for participants to engage in planning for the transfer of skills/ strategies into action. NO SEPARATE SOLICITATION WILL BE ISSUED. The contract period is through 30 June 2001. Contractors who believe that they can meet this requirement are invited to submit information demonstrating their ability to meet these requirements. This notice is for informational purposes only.
