Description

Successful contractor shall furnish all labor, material and equipment necessary to complete the construction of a 1,200 square foot addition to the existing Headquarters Building, and remodeling within the building. Work includes, but is not limited to, demolition, asbestos abatement, earthwork, site utilities, exterior concrete flatwork, concrete foundations and floor slabs, wood framing, prefabricated wood trusses, steel siding, wood shake roofing, doors, windows, various interior finishes, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical systems. The project is located at the Medicine Lake National Wildlife Refuge, Medicine Lake, MT. The Government Estimate is between $250,000 and $500,000. Davis-Bacon payrolls shall be required. Bid, payment and performance bonds are required as follows: bid bond -- 20% of bid price, payment and performance bonds -- 100% of contract price. This notice to proceed for this will be issued on or about May 1, 2001. This project is open to both large and small businesses under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program.
