Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice This announcement constitutes the only solitation: proposalsare being requested and a written soliciation will not be issued. Solicitation No. F19650-00-Q-0050 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). A statement that the solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-19.21 passenger plus luggage first class coach, gas powered with Air Conditioning, PA system TV/VCR Model year 1998 or better. (v) Clauses 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. (vi) 52.212-2 Evaluation-Commercial Items. The following factors will be used to evaluate offers: Professional specifications, past performance, price and price related factors and delivery schedule considered in descending order of importance as listed here. In addition, when all other factors are combined they are more important than price. The government will select a professionally superior offer if it is determined that the additional professional merit is worth the additional cost in relation to the other proposals received. Furthermore, the government may reject any or all offers if such action is in the public interest or waive informalities and minor irregularities in offers received. Professional capability will be determined from the information submitted by the Offeror providing a description in sufficient detail to show the product offered meets the government's requirements. (vii) 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications-commercial Items. Offeror must be a Small Business. (viii) 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial items. (ix) All offerors must be Central Contractor Registered (CCR). This is a planning requirement award will be made as soon as funds are available. Ensure your offer is good until 15 Oct. Magnone, Director, Commander's Staff, has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during proposal development. You should only contact the Ombudsman with issues or problems you cannot satisfactorily resolve with the program manager and/or contracting officer. The Ombudsman role is to hear concerns, issues, and recommendations and communicate these to the appropriate government personnel. The Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality if desired.
