- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Solicitation number is M9332600SS55501 and this is a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 97-18 AND DAC 91-13. This is a 100% small business set aside under simplified acquisition procedures; the standard industrial code is 5074 and the small business size standard is 100 employees. The following item is intended to be purchased for the Government on a firm fixed price contract. 1 each Trailer mounted vacuum loading machine; Mfg: Aquatech; P/N: JV1000 HPD (Brand name or equal, additional specifications available upon request.); with the following options: 2 each 6" intake tube handle; automatic pressurized liquid discharge system via a 2" centrifugal pump mounted on the tank exterior; engine meter hour; 20' retractable cord and spotlight; 12-volt auxiliary electrical outlet; reflective stripe tape-rear; 6" rear gate valve, a minimum of 4-hours on-site training. To be delivered to Marine Corps Base, Camp Pendleton, California; no later than 60 days after receipt of order. All responsible sources may submit an offer along with DUNS Number and FAR 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items (FEB 2000). All Contractors submitting an offer are reminded that you must be registered in the Central contractor Registration database to be considered for award. Any Contract awarded, as a result of this so1icitation will be an order certified for National Defense use under the Defense Priorities and Allocations System. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: Technical Capability and Price. Offers must be received no later than 4:00 PM, PST, 25 September 2000. Offers sent via the U.S. Postal Service should be mailed to the Contracting Office, U.S.M.C./ P.O. Box 1609, Oceanside, CA 92055. Federal Express should be sent to Contracting Division, Bldg. 22180, Camp Pendleton, CA 92055. All offers not sent through the U.S. Postal Service will be considered to be hand carried and direct delivered. Hand carried offers must be delivered to Building 22180, Contracts Division, Camp Pendleton, CA.
