- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. FUNDS ARE NOT CURRENTLY AVAILABLE FOR THIS REQUIREMENT; HOWEVER REQUEST FOR FUNDING IS INCLUDED IN THE FY00 END OF YEAR SPEND PLAN. AWARD IS CONTINGENT UPON FUNDS BECOMING AVAILABLE ON OR BEFORE 30 SEP 00. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. A quote is being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number F34612-00-QQ-0137 is hereby issued as a Request for Quote. The incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-19. This acquisition is full and open competition and is under Standard Industrial Classification code 5084, with a small business size standard of 100 Employees. This acquisition is for one transportable comfort station with the following specifications: One transportable comfort station with a main trailer base length of approximately 15 feet and road legal (lights, flaps etc) width with the following requirements: WOMEN'S SIDE -- 2 toilets with stainless steel partitions, 1 lavatory in vanity with mirror, 1 entry/exit door and a soap and paper towel dispenser. MEN'S SIDE -- 2 toilets with stainless steel partitions, 2 urinals with stainless steel blinds, 3 lavatory in vanity with mirror, 1 entry/exit door and soap and paper towel dispenser. Chassis & Frame: heavy-duty chassis and frame with a pintle hitch and a frame mounted jack to facilitate hitching and unhitching. Tie downs with straps to secure the trailer to the ground will be provided. Four additional jacks one at each corner to level trailer. Tandem axle preferred. Mounted spare tire in storage rack. Exterior: (color) aluminum siding with R-11 insulation in walls, ceiling and floor. Color: Casa Blanca SW2060 preferred. Interior: a durable and waterproof interior. Floor should be of a durable waterproof material. Electrical: Four foot 2 tube fluorescent light fixtures rated for wet locations, including positive latches to secure the diffuser in each room. Roof mounted A/C unit with no less than 13,500 BTU's cooling and no less than 5,600 BTU's heating, ducted into both rooms. Two 20 amp, NEMA 3R (weathertite) panel box. DOT approved running lights. Plumbing & interior facilities: a city water hookup, a city sewer hookup. Winterized waste tank(s) with a capacity of no less than 750 gallons mounted under trailer with cleanout and sight glass. Low consumption flushing toilets with stainless steel partitions and doors with transportation locks, and heavy duty extruded aluminum clamp on bolt thru partition hardware. Sinks with water saving faucets in locking aluminum vanity cabinet with mirror. Wall hung porcelain urinals with water saving flush valves. One electric water heater (no less than 6 gallon capacity) with associated hardware, electrical and plumbing . Doors and steps: heavy duty doors with aluminum exterior skins, pull handle and dead bolt locks keyed alike. Heavy duty-fold out steps with large platforms and handrails on both entry/exit. Prices need to be quotes FOB destination. Indicate on quote CCR registration and cage code. It is incorporated by reference and applies to this acquisition. It is amended to read: Submit signed and dated offer to 97 CONS/LGCA, 205 S. 6th St. Bldg. 318, Altus AFB OK 73523-5147 at or before 1630 (4:30 P.M.) CST, 22 SEP 2000. Submit signed and dated quotations on company letter head or quotation form. Quotations may be faxed to (580)481-7472 or e-mailed. Offers on this acquisition shall be evaluated on the basis of price factors only. The government reserves the right to make award on the initial quote without discussions. The successful offeror shall be required to complete a copy of the provisions at FAR clause 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items (FEB 2000) prior to actual award. If a copy of the provisions is needed, please request one from Carol Loague, and a copy will be faxed. FAR clause 52.212-4 (Mar 1999), Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, is incorporated by reference and applies to this acquisition with the following addendum: DFARS 252.204-7004 Required Central Contractor Registration (Mar 1998). The clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items (Feb 2000) applies to this acquisition and is incorporated by reference.
