THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS PREPARED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FORMAT IN FAR SUBPART 12.6-STREAMLINED PROCEDURES FOR EVALUATION AND SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS-AS SUPPLEMENTED WITH ADDITIONAL INFORMATION INCLUDED IN THIS NOTICE. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; QUOTATIONS ARE BEING REQUESTED, AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION DOCUMENT WILL NOT BE ISSUED. This solicitation, #W81GNX 0111-1001, is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-19. This solicitation is 100% set aside for small business concerns. The associated Standards Industrial Classification Code (SIC) for this procurement is 3575, and the small business size is 1,000 employees. The US Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM) require the following items. (CLIN 0001: Dell Poweredge 6400 Server, with dual (2) Intel Pentium III Xeon 550 Mhz processor, 1GB Ram, 8x128, RGT DIMM, 2x9GB 10000 RPM Hard Drive, 8 Bay Hot Pluggable Backplane, Six(6) 36GB 1.6" 10000 RPM Hot Pluggable SCSI Hard Drives, PERC2 RAID card with 64MB Cache, Two (2) Intel Pro 100+ NIC, 17/4, Tower Configuration with redundant power supply, 3 year next business day on-site service -- Quantity 2 each). (CLIN 0002: Dell Poweredge 4400 Server with Intel Pentium III Xeon 800 Mhz processor w/256 cache, 1GB RAM, 8x128MB DIMM, 9GB U160M SCSI 10000 RPM Hard Drive, 8Bay Hard Drive Backplane, Intel Pro 100+ NIC, 17/40x SCSI CD-ROM and 3.5" Floppy Drive, tower configuration with redundant power supply, 104 Keyboard and System mouse, 3 year next business day on-site service -- Quantity 1 each). (CLIN 0004: Viewsonic LCD Monitor, VP181 18" 1280x1024 76 Hz TFT LCD Monitor -- Quantity 5 each). (CLIN 0005: Fujitsu Dynamo 640MB Optical Ultra SCSI Internal Drive Kit -- Quantity 4 each). Delivery is required within 30 days after receipt of purchase order (ARO); Delivery location is the US Army Intelligence and Security Command, Mission Support Activity, Building 712, 9801 Dalrymple Road, Fort Belvoir, Virginia 22060-5435.
