Description

NOTICE OF INTENT. The U. S. Customs Service (USCS) intends to solicit and award an order for repair/replacement parts for X-ray equipment manufactured by American Science & Engineering, 829 Middlesex Turnpike, Billerica, MA 01821. The parts are truck X-ray tubes (231-1085-1) and 101 X-ray tubes (231-1853-1). The requirement will be processed under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1), only one responsible source. AS&E is the exclusive supplier of the fixed truck and 101 x-ray equipment. No other company has the ability to supply the required repair/replacement parts. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. No telephone requests. See numbered Note 22.
