Description

THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION FOR A COMMERCIAL ITEM PREPARED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FORMAT IN FAR SUBPART 12.6, AS SUPPLEMENTED WITH ADDITIONAL INFORMATION INCLUDED IN THIS NOTICE. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; QUOTES ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. THIS REQUEST FOR QUOTES (RFQ) is a Small Business Set Aside, Sic Code: 5045, Size Standard: 500 employees e-mail: sbowar@redstone.army.mil. It is the government's intent to issue a firm-fixed price order. (The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-19.) The contract shall provide the following SONY items: Sony DVCAM Tapes, PN: PDV184Mem, 200 ea; Sony EC-15CF Adapter Cable f/microphone #SY-EC15CF or EC-1.5CF, 5 ea; Sony Laptops, PN: PCG-F540, 4 ea; Sony Body Pack Trans w/ECM-77, PN: WRT822A68M77, 5 ea; Sony WRT 808A(68) XLR Plus In Transmitter, 5 ea; Sony DVCAM Eng Package, PN: DSR500WS, 4 ea. SONY brand will be required in order to be compatible with the government owned camera equipment. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which, if timely received, shall be considered. Only vendors enrolled in Central Contractors Registration will be considered for award.
