- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is F41614-00-Q0266, and is issued as a request for quote. Response date is 19 Sep 00 response time is 1400 CST. Solicitation provisions are those in effect for Federal Acquisition Circular 97-19. This acquisition is restricted to small businesses. SIC code is 3861. Items to be furnished are 0001 Projector 1000 lumens XGA 1024x768, 9.76lbs P/N LP-0755-ZV manufacturer Infocus 7 each. 0002 Screen, 80_ brilliance P/N LCA 14830 manufacturer Phillips 7 each. 0003 Cable, 60.7_ (18.5) Cablewizard 2 extension P/N SP-CW2EXT manufacturer Infocus 7 each.0004 Kit, ceiling mount litemount 750/755 P/N SP-CEIL-LM750 manufacturer Infocus 7 each. FOB Point is Goodfellow AFB Texas, 76908 date of delivery 45 days ARO. All requests for clarification of specs must be faxed to915) 654-3255. The RFQ expected award date is 22 Sep 00. In accordance with FAR 52.252-1 Solicitation Provisions Incorporated by Reference (Feb 1998) This solicitation incorporates one or more solicitation provisions by reference, with the same force and effect as if they were given in full text. Upon request, the Contracting Officer will make their full text available. The offeror is cautioned that the listed provisions may include blocks that must be completed by the offeror and submitted with its quotation or offer. In lieu of submitting the full text of those provisions, the offeror may identify the provision by paragraph identifier and provide the appropriate information with its quotation or offer. Also, the full text of a solicitation provision may be accessed electronically at this/these address: farsite.hill.af.mil. (End of Provision) The following solicitation provisions are incorporated by Reference 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors Commercial Items (MAR 2000). 52.212-2 Evaluation Commercial Items (Jan 1999), (a) The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: technical capability of the item offered to meet the Government requirement, and price 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial items. (FEB 2000). Offerors Representations and Certifications, Commercial items to be completed and submitted with offers. The following contract clauses shall be incorporated by reference: 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items (May 1999). 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Commercial Items (AUG 2000). a) The Contractor shall comply with the following FAR clauses, which are incorporated in this contract by reference, to implement provisions of law or executive orders applicable to acquisitions of commercial items: (1) 52.222-3, Convict Labor. 52.233-3, Protest after Award. In accordance with paragraph (b) the following clauses are applicable: (1) 52.203-6, Restrictions on Subcontractor Sales to the Government, with Alternate I. (23) 52.232-33, Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer-Central Contractor Registration. (c) The Contractor shall comply with the FAR clauses in this paragraph (c), applicable to commercial services, which the Contracting Officer has indicated as being incorporated in this contract by reference to implement provisions of law or executive orders applicable to acquisitions of commercial items or components: none apply.
