Description

This is a combined SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 and 13.5, as supplemented with additional information included in this Notice. This announcement constitutes a request for quotation and is the only solicitation that will be issued; no written solicitation will be issued. The Solicitation number is DTFH61-00-Q-00118 and is issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ) incorporating provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-19. The Standard Industrial Classification Code is 7372 and the small business standard is annual average gross revenue of $18 million for the last 3 fiscal years. THIS REQUIREMENT IS 100% SET-ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESS. The Federal Highway Administration has a requirement for Backup Exec software, "Competitive Suite Upgrade" by Veritas. The following will be purchased: Part Number BE-NWC-057-850 LE Backup Exec NW. Multi Srv Competitive Migration Ste. 1 yr combo -- Quantity 66; Part Number BE-NWC-027-850 LE Backup Exec Netware Autoloader Opt +1yr Main Adv. -- Quantity 6; Part Number BE-NWM-009-LE,Backup Exec Netware Adv 1 yr Autoloader Opt, Quantity 8. The FHWA will award based on low bid. Offerors must include the following in their quotations: 1) Federal Tax Identification Number and DUNS number; 5) delivery time, and 6) business size of the company.
