Description

This is a special notice being issued by Westinghouse Savannah River Company (WSRC), management and operating contractor for the U.S. Department of Energy's Savannah River Site near Aiken, South Carolina. WSRC wishes to determine public interest in licensing for commercial resell a software package that is a finite element based code designed to model subsurface flow and contaminant transport (FACT). The program performs transient 3-D calculations that simulate isothermal ground water flow, moisture movement, and solute transport in variably saturated and fully saturated subsurface porous media.
