Description

This is a combined synopsis solicitation of commercial items/services issued in accordance with FAR Part 12. USSOCOM has a requirement for a Maintenance Contract on the Veritas Products Currently installed at their site. This includes Premier Direct Support-24-7, Direct Assist Support 6am to 6pm PST, 5 days a week, A toll free Support Line, Problem Solving, Problem Tracking, Bug Reporting, Clarification of Documentation, Patches and Bug fixes and New Releases and Versions. Veritas is the only known source for the 1-800 toll free support line portion of this request, therefore, this is expected to be a sole source procurement with the Veritas Software Corporation as authorized by 10 USC 2304(C) (1). Period of performance is from 01 Sep 2000 to 30 Aug 2001. Incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-19.
