Description

The VA Network Business Center, Long Beach (VISN 22) intends to negotiate a sole source maintenance contract with SMV America Nuclear Medicine Company on the following Government-owned SMV Vision Power Station MPX Model No. 00316, SPX Model Nos. 00899, 00904, 00950, Vision Acquisition Station Model No. 298, located at the Greater Los Angeles Healthcare Facility, 11301 Wilshire Blvd., Los Angeles, California. Full Services include propriety software upgrades, two preventative maintenance inspection, QA calibrations per system, unlimited service visits, all parts, labor and travel during normal working hours. The Contract will be effective for one base year, with the Government having the option to extend the contract for three additional one-year option periods. This award will be made using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Solicitation package will NOT be issued as a result of this notification, however all interested concerns shall demonstrate their technical capability and cost in writing to the Contracting Officer by C.O.B. 9/29/2000. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
