Description

USACE, Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) proposes to issue a sole source award to Perkin-Elmer, 761 Main Avenue, Norwalk, CT 06859-0041 for maintenance and repair of Government-owned, Perkin-Elmer equipment (atomic absorption spectrometers, liquids chromatographs, heated graphite atomizers, auto samplers, power supplies), manufactured by Perkin-Elmer. The contractor will provide routine and emergency repair and maintenance service. Since they are the manufacturer of the equipment, they are in a unique position to provide the required services. The award will be made for one year with option to renew up to an additional four years. A firm-fixed price award will be made utilizing the Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Any other responsible source able to provide the services is encouraged to respond to this announcement within 15 days after its publication. This is not a request for quotations and there is no solicitation available at this time. This is not a small business set-aside.
