Description

The Naval Hospital, N.Charleston, SC intends to procure on a sole source basis from Lanier Worldwide, Columbia, SC the following maintenance/repair contract for Lanier equipment and software (software licenses)Voicewriter 2400 System & 5010 Fax and CQUENCE Transcription System. This commercial maintenance contract is for equipment and software already competitively purchased from Lanier Worldwide. This is not a formal solicitation. This synopsis is not considered a request for proposals or quotations. Detaled capabilities must by submitted to the above referenced address (Attn: Karen Moore) by COB 9/19/2000. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be honored. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice, but will be used to determine if a comparable source or offerors are available and more advantages to the Government. If no affirmative written response is received the purchase will be awarded without further notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This procurement is subject to the availability of Fiscal Year 2001 funding.
