Description

On behalf of the Office of the Secretary of Defense/Accession Policy and in accordance with FAR Subpart 6.302-1, the Defense Supply Service-Washington intends to award a purchase order (under the simplified acquisition threshold) on a sole source basis to Jones-Lundin Beals, Inc., Chicago, IL to assist the Department of Defense in screening and selection of finalists for the recompetition process of an advertising/communication agency for the Defense Manpower Data Center, Joint Recruiting Advertising Program (JRAP), Rosslyn, Virginia. JLB will develop approaches and strategies for supporting acquisitions. JLB will assist and advise in the development of requirements, specifications and acquisition materials including approval documentation, briefings and solicitation documents. JLB will provide support to plan acquisition schedules, and perform follow-up by monitoring performance of scheduled events covering pre-award and post-award functions. No solicitation will be issued. This notice is for information purposes only. Capability Statements may be submitted to DSS-W not later than 5 p.m. on 28 September to be considered.
