- NASA/GRC plans to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) for a training course to provide feedback and action planning as per the specifications listed below: FEEDBACK & ACTION PLANNING COURSE SPECIFICATIONS OBJECTIVE: To provide a course in how to effectively provide feedback to your employees and to develop action plans to improve the effectiveness of the workgroup. The feedback data will be from a WEB-based internal employee satisfaction survey that all employees will be encouraged to complete. Approximately 160 to 175 supervisors and managers will be participating in this course. The course should emphasize the importance of how the material is presented as w6ll-as the details of an effective process and quality plans. Length of Course: The course should be approximately one-half day in length with two sessions per day and presented during two different weeks. The number of sessions per week and the size of the class should be included in the proposal. Course Content: The course should be presented on-site and should address topics such as the following: The importance of how t-o present the feedback data How to clarify and understand the numerical data Selection of topics to develop action plans for improvement How to develop of quality action plans Working the plan to improve the organization Course Materials: The vendor will provide all course materials for the participants. NASA will provide suitable classroom space to conduct the course. Note: Proposal should include course outline listing topics and general time frame for presenting course content. Previous experience presenting this course and/or similar courses should be noted. I FEEDBACK & ACTION PLANNING II COURSE SPECIFICATIONS objective: To provide a review of the information presented in the earlier Feedback and Action Planning Course as well as a working session that incorporates implementation issues, alternatives, and lessons learned from the pilot effort. Approximately 160 to 175 supervisors and managers will be participating in this course. Length of Course: The course should be approximately one-half day in length with two sessions per day and presented during two different weeks. The number of sessions per week and the size of the class should be included in the proposal. Course Content: The course should be a review of the initial course content that incorporates the experiences of the supervisors and manaaers from that pilot effort. The course should be presented on-sit-e approximately 6 to 8 months after the initial course and should address the same topics as the initial course in a manner that both "trained" and new participants would be able to prepare for the second "survey-feedback-action planning" effort. Course Materials: The vendor will provide all course materials for the participants. NASA will provide suitable classroom space to conduct the course. Note: Proposal should include course outline listing topics and general time frame for presenting course content. Previous experience presenting this course and/or similar courses should be noted. FAXED QUOTES MAY BE SENT TO: THE NASA GLENN RESEARCH CENTER ATTN: DENNIS D. PEHOTSKY AT (216)-433-2757. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR PART 12. This procurement is a total small business set-aside. See Note 1. The SIC Code and Size Standard are 8299 and 500 employees, respectively. The DPAS Rating for this procurment is DO C9. The anticipated release date of RFQ-3-158762 is on or about 9-13-2000,with an anticipated quote due date of on or about 9-20-2000. All qualified responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the agency. An ombudsman has been appointed -- See NASA Specific Note "B". The solicitation and any documents related to this procurement will be available over the Internet. These documents will be in Microsoft Office Suite (Word 6.0, Excel 5.0, or PowerPoint 4.0) format and will reside on a World Wide Web (WWW) server, which may be accessed using a WWW browser application.
