Description

Sale an indefinite quantity of non-excess government personal property identified as "Commercial Utility Cargo Vehicles" (CUCV), and "Small Utility Support Vehicles"(SUSV) for an indefinite quantity of new "High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicles" (HMMWV). Specific quantities, models, and additional types of CUCV/SUSV vehicles to be included in the sales agreement will be identified in subsequent orders issued by the Contracting Officer in writing. This is an "All or None" procurement. The firm selected for this award must inspect non-excess government personal property and accept it on an "AS IS, WHERE IS" basis and shall be responsible for all arrangements of transporting such equipment to auction facility. The awardee will be responsible for the complete sale of the government property. This includes sale preparation, such as, all necessary documentation required by the state in which the vehicle is sold, vehicle repair/refurbish, and the marketing and advertising of sales. Awardee will also be responsible for Post-administration, which encompasses fund collection and transfer of sales proceeds. It is imperative that the firm selected for this award must have global capability to handle auctions due to the various CONUS and OCONUS locations of CUCVs and SUSV. The awardee will assume complete responsibility for the management of nonexcess Government vehicle disposal effort, as directed by TACOM, on a case by case basis.
