Description: This is a synopsis only. The project includes but is NOT LIMITED to the following work elements. All plant, labor, equipment, materials and incidentals shall be furnished by the Contractor. No alterations, additions or deletions shall be made unless prior approval by the Project Manager has been obtained. Work will not commence on this project until a bona fide NOTICE to Proceed has been issued by the Contracting Office. All work must meet and exceed acceptable standards of the building trade and be performed by a qualified craftsman. The Contractor shall provide a one (1) year warranty, for all work, against defects and craftsmanship. The scope of the project consist of demolishing and disposing of old privacy fencing and installing new wooden privacy fencing. The dimensions of the fencing requires privacy fences at 6'6" tall by 13'6" long and fencing 6'6" by 18'3" for nine (9) housing units. The Contractor must verify all dimensions prior to ordering fencing. The performance period for the project is fourteen (14) days. A site visit is scheduled for Thursday, September 14 at 1:00p.m. Interested persons should meet at 43 Contracting Squadron, 1443 Reilly Rd, Bldg 560, Pope AFB, N.C.
