Description

Maintenance dredging of approximately 200,000 cubic yards of shoaled sand and silt from the Snohomish River Channel and Downstream Settling Basin at Everett Harbor, WA, with placement of dredged materials to nourish and extend the Jetty Island protective berm. All work shall be completed in accordance with the plans and specifications package. This solicitation will be issued as an Electronic Bid Set (EBS) on CD-Rom format only. EBS CD-Rom disks with plans and specs will be available on or about 5 Oct 2000 at no charge per set. Documents will be issued on a first come, first served basis until supply is exhaused. No phone requests accepted. Firms desiring consideration must register via the Internet at the following address: http://www.nws.usace.army.mil/ct/ Plans and Specs may be picked up from the Plans Room, Monday thru Friday between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 3.30 p.m. and must respond by the IFB's Bid Opening Date with information required therein. Estimated dollar value is in the range of $500,000.00 to $1,000,000.00 with a completion period of 90 calendar days. Standard Industrial Code (SIC) is 1629. The proposed procurement is unrestricted, to result in a firm fixed price contract.
