Description

Provide all labor, tools, equipment, supplies, fuel, maintenance, and supervision to perform various construction tasks for the Lakes under the Elm Fork Project, i.e.; Lewisville Lake, Ray Roberts Lake, and Grapevine Lake. Work will consist of but not limited to the following; Furnishing various Construction Equipment with Operators such as (This is a partial list) Motorgrader, Bulldozer, Dump Truck, Water Tank Truck, Rubber Tire Trackor, Ditching Machine, Back Hoes, Skid Loader, and Track Loader. The contract will also include the installation of various Signs such as Traffic and Park, Installing Fencing such as Barbed Wire, Split Rail, and Cable. The contract will also include furnishing the services of an Electrician, Plumber, and Skilled Craftsman. Duration of the contract is for one (1) year with four (4) option year periods. The estimated cost range for the base period plus four option periods is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. This procurement is a 100% Small Business Set Aside. The SIC code for the majority of the work is 1629. The solicitation is tentatively scheduled to issue on or about 20 September 2000. Proposals will be received until 4:00 p.m., local time, on or about 20 October 2000. Offers from all qualified and responsible sources may submit proposal which shall be considered by the agency. This solicitation package including plans and specifications will be placed on the Fort Worth District Home Page, no compact disk (CD-ROM) will be available. Notification of amendments will be made through either 3.5" diskette, CD-ROM, and/or the Internet. The Government reserves the right to use only the Internet as notification of any changes to this solicitation. It is the Contractor's responsibility to check the following address daily for any posted changes to this solicitation. Contractors may view and /or download this solicitation and all amendments on the Internet after solicitation issuance at the following Internet address: http://ebs.swf.usace.army.mil Offerors should register themselves on the Fort Worth District Home page. The contract will contain the requirement that the Contractor shall perform on site, and with his own organization, work equivalent to at least 25% of the work to be performed under this contract. reference Notes 1 and 26.
