Description

This is a notification of a sole source procurement for MCB Camp Pendleton, CA. The Marine Corps intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Mike Gibson Manufacturing, 3554 North 39th St. Boise, Idaho 83703. The contract will consist of (1) Close Quarter Battle (CQB) Portable Bullet Traps qty 25 ea; (2) Bianchi Falling Plate Racks on 6" casters qty 3 ea.; (3) 42" tall Pepper Poppers qty 20 ea.; (4) 42" tall Split Pepper Poppers qty 5 ea.; (5) IPSC Targets with 6" Trap Door qty 6 ea. (6) Hostage Targets with 8" Adjustable Round Head qty 6 ea.; (7) 19.5" wide Paper Target Stands for 2x2 studs qty 75 ea; (8) Flash Targets qty 3 ea.; (9) Pro Timer III qty 4 ea.; (10) Double Lolli Poppers Rifle Target qty 10 ea. Award will be made using Simplified Acquistion Procedures. No solicitation is available. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capabaility to respond to the requirment or submit proposals. This notice of intent to purchase is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all proposals received within eleven (11) days after date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based on response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Proposals are due by 1630 (PST) on 25 September 2000 and may be sent by mail.
