Description
MODIFICATION TO POTENTIAL SOURCES SOUGHT: The following questions were asked regarding the synopsis posted on 10 August 2000: Question -- What quantity of SPG-9 73mmHT AGP is required? Answer -- The SPG-9 (73MM) requirement has been cancelled. Question -- Does the ammunition have to be foreign or can it be domestically produced to foreign specs? The SPG-9 ammo will probably have to be at least partially rebuilt to ensure safety, is the acceptable as long as it can be utilized for your purposes? Answer -- It can be domestically produced. Question -- Will or can the transportation of the ammunition into the country be covered by Military exemptions or will we have to get approval from the State Department, etc? Answer -- This issue is not yet resolved. Please submit with this an an outstanding issue. Question -- The 12.7x108mm linked, do you have a preference on style? (eg. Ball, API, APIT, etc.)? Answer -- The program of instructions requests ball but it can be others. There is a preference with the 9x18 ball ammo, they would rather have the brass cartridges than the steel cartridges. Question -- What type of safety certifications are we talking about? Answer -- This issue is not yet resolved. Please submit with this as an outstanding issue. Responses are not due 1600/4:00PM EDT 20 September 2000*****
