Description

This solicitation is issued as an anticipated sole source. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items and is prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The solicitation documents and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 97-19. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and no written solicitation will be issued. The solicitation number is 549-00- RFQ-106. The Contracting Activity located at the VA North Texas Health Care System (VANTHCS), 4500 S. Lancaster Road, Dallas, TX. 75216, requires the furnishing and installation of a Siemens Cerberus fire alarm system in Building 2, second floor. Offerors are informed that only brand name products are acceptable due to the necessity of products to be compatible with the existing Siemens Cerberus fire system. Products are as follows: (33) FP-11 Intell. Detectors; (28) Detector Base Assemblies; (7) Intell. Main Stations Single Acting; (50) Speaker/Strobes; (46) Uni-Mount 15/75 CD Strobe; (2) 6 Amp Extender Power Panels; (1) Analog Loop Driver Two Loop; (12) Single Input W/Relays; (6) Dual Input W/relays; (3) One Led Lamp; (6) 24 Volt Concealed Wiring; (1) Expansion Cardcage 2-Slot. Vendor is to provide all necessary labor to install, program and terminate for a fully operational system. The solicitation incorporates by reference FAR clauses and provisions: 52.212-1, 52.212-3, 52.212-4 and 52.212-5.
