NSN: 4240-01-348-5257 NOTICE NUMBER 496611, DATED SEPTEMBER 14, 2000, IS MODIFIED AS FOLLOWS: Subject solicitation will be made available on the DLA Procurement Gateway on the estimated solicitation issuance date of October 6, 2000. To access the DLA Procurement Gateway, go to "http://progate.daps.mil.home" or "http://12.3.216/home". From the Gateway homepage, select "Search RFQ's" on the left-hand sidebar. All documents are in portable document format (pdf) and can be downloaded using Adobe Acrobat Reader. Adobe Reader is available free from Adobe at http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readermain.html. To receive e-mail notification of this and other solicitations, you must register with the USER PROFILE feature of the Gateway. To register, access the Gateway at "http://progate.daps.mil.home", select "User Profile" from the left-hand sidebar of the Gateway. Follow the instructions for establishing a new profile. The Gateway will send all entities registered on the User Profile an E-MAIL notification of new solicitations. These E-MAILS will also contain a hyperlink (web address) that can connect users directly to a digital copy of the solicitation on the Internet. The solicitations will be in a downloadable, printable format when viewed with an Adobe Acrobat Reader (see above). Offerors who fail to register at the Gateway will not receive the E-MAILs. Drawings will not be available through the DLA Procurement Gateway, only from the Contract Specialist Steve Green.
