Description

Description: This is a combine synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; price quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation (F26600-00-QZ069) is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-12. The SIC for this solicitation is 5074. This is being solicited Small Business set-aside. The item description is as follows. Offeror shall quote on the following items: Plumbing supplies are attached to this solicitation. Note: MEGALUGS, Joint Restraints are manufactured by EBAA Iron Sales or equal and FIRE HYDRANT which is F2500 FIRE HYDRANT are manufactured by Clow Valve Co or equal. If quoting an or equal please supply specs with your quote. Award will be best value to the Government. FAR 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items are attached to the this solicitation. Please fill in FAR 52.212-3 Reps and Certs and send along with your quote to this office. Price quotes shall be submitted by 4:00 p.m. (Pacific), 22 Sep 00 to 99th Contracting Squadron, 5865 Swaab Blvd. Nellis AFB, NV 89191, attention Idella Mullins. Price quotes may be sent by facsimile at (702) 652-5405. Item shall be in good condition (as determined by the Government) and meet all applicable construction and safety codes. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instruction of Offerors-Commercial, applies to this solicitation. The clause at FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation of Commercial items, applies to this solicitation. Award will be made to the responsible, responsive offeror whose offer will result in the best value to the Government, price and past performance considered. The clause at FAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial items applies to this solicitation. The clause at FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders-Commercial items, applies to this solicitation. The following clauses also apply to this solicitation: FAR 52.232-33 Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer. DFAR 252.204-7004 Required Central Contract Registration.
