Description

1. A firm-fixed price contract is being contemplated to procure two (2) each, NSN 4920-01-194-3772, Test Set, Engine Warning, P/N 16U23510-3. 2. Predominant Material: Steel/Electronics components. 3. Size/Dimension: 13" L x 9"W x 13"H, Wt -- 12 lbs. 4. Form/Fit/Function: provides checkout capabilities for the F-16 aircraft engine control unit. 5. Remarks: There is no Government furnished drawings or specifications available. This acquisition is set-aside for small business. Three identified sources are (1) MFC 01HC54, Precision Mold & Tool;(2) MFC 55064, Hill Aerospace & Defense; and (3) MFC 024361, T M System Inc. Vendors other than those listed must submit a Source Approval Package. All potential offerors should contact the buyer/PCO identified in this notice for additional information and/or to communicate concerns, if any, concerning this acquisition. If your concerns are not satisfied by the contracting officer, an Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of an acquisition. The Ombudsman does not diminish the authority of the program director or Contracting Officer, but communicates Contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate Government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman shall maintain strict confidentially as to the source of the concern.
