Description

The National Cemetery Administration intends to procure on a sole source basis a prefabricated office structure from The Warrier Group, DeSoto, TX. The acquisition will be made in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 19.1306(a), Historically Underutilized Business Zone Program (HUBZone) sole source awards.. The Warrier Group is the only known HUBZone source currently certified by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) and contained on SBA's List of Qualified HUBZone Small Business Concerns that is capable of providing the required supply under authority of the HUBZone Program. This notice of intent is not a request for proposals or quotations. Interested parties seeking to challenge the sole source justification to provide the requirement must present clear and convincing evidence to the contracting officer that they are (1) currently certified by SBA as a HUBZone Small Business Concern; (2) are contained on SBA's List of Qualified HUBZone Concerns in accordance with FAR 19.1303; and (3) are capable of providing a prefabricated office structure. The contracting officer must receive responses to this notice within seven (7) calendar days after the date of publication of this notice in the printed edition of the Commerce Business Daily. Oral communications are not acceptable. No contract will be awarded on the basis of any offers received in response to this notice, but will be used solely for the purposes of determining if other HUBZone sources are available. Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code 2452 is applicable to this acquisition.
