Description
Furnish a complete Emergency Standby Generator Set to be used at Markle Pump Station located in Markle, Indiana. The generator set shall meet all performance criteria in the attached specification. The generator set shall be trailer mounted with an integral fuel tank as referenced in the specification. The generator set shall be shipped with a remote alarm/status annunciator panel with a minimum of 100 foot of cable pre-connected for installation. This remote annunciator panel requirement shall be in addition to the local alarm/status panel, refer to specification 16263, paragraph 2.17. The generator set shall be shipped with a minimum of 50 foot of parallel main conductors sized according to 1999 NFPA 70, National Electrical Code, for 100 percent of the Generator's full load capacity. These conductors shall be used as temporary feeders from the Generator Set to the permanently mounted 3-way selector switch located inside the pump plant. The generator set shall meet all requirements set forth in the specification for Performance, Factory Testing, Field (On-Site) Testing, etc. The generator set shall be a Caterpillar 3412, 600KW with Caterpillar SR4B Generator, brand name or equal. This product must be DOMESTIC MADE. An on-site visit may be required to verify all load requirements for the Generator Set. Solicitation Number DACW27-00-B-0040 will be issued approximately 29 September 2000, and the last day for receipt of bids will be approximately 1 November 2000, 2:00 p.m. local time. The SIC code is 3621. This project is unrestricted. Estimated value of the project is $100,000 -- $250,000. This project is subject to availability of funds (SAF).
