Description

17. The combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items No. 519-00-P-009 is hereby modified to reflect the following changes: (1) revise the specifications of the following items: Item 1. Spool Insulator 1-3/4"ANSI CLASS 53-2 color gray, voltage required is 600 volts. Item 2. Spool Insulator 3", ANSI CLASS 53-4, color gray, voltage required is 600 volts. Item 5. Insulated clevis (less insulator), height (internal size) must be 3-1/4", width (to the center of the pin hole) must be 4-1/2", 11/16" hole for 5/8"pin for insulator support, 11/16"hole for 5/8"machine bolt, insulator used is 3" height spool type. Supply is without insulator. Item 6. Swinging clevis (less insulator) height (internal size) must be 3-3/8"width (to the center of the pin hole) must be 5", 11/16"hole for 5/8"pin for insulator support, for mounting with eyenut of item 9. Insulator used is 3"height pool type. Supply is without the insulator. Item 7. Pole top pin 1-3/8"x 20". Pole top pin must be for use with 5/8"X10"machine bolt (concrete pole, not wood pole), with straight base pin of 1-3/8"X 20"total length. Item 9. Standard eyenut for 5/ 8"bolt, internal eye size 1-3/4" X 1-1/2", with a 3"height for use with 5/8" bolt, internal dimension of the eye is 1-3/4" x 1-1/2". Item 11. Expanding anchor for 5/8"rod, diameter of the hole anchor is 11/16" (for use with a 5/8" rod). Item 12. "steel bandit belt and item 13. "steel bandit buckle. These two items are packing material for outdoor use (stainless steel), cinch width is ", buckle is for use with "width cinch. Item 15. Guy grip dead-end, stainless steel 5/16". Item 17. Galv. Conduit IMC " x 3 meters length x "internal pipe size (IPS). Item 20. Suspension insulator 10"diameter. System nominal voltage is 14.4/24.9 KV, ANSI CLASS 52-4, color gray, clevis type for terminal or connection fitting. Item 21. Suspension insulator, 6"diameter. System nominal voltage is 7.6/13.2KV, ANSI CLASS 52-1, color gray, clevis type for terminal or connection fitting. Item 24. Distribution transformer conventional, 25 KVA, 14.4-24.9 KV/120-240V, including loadbreak cutout and lightning arrester, voltage required is 14.4/24.9KV, offerors may quote cutout and arrester in combo or separately. Cutout capacity must be 100 AMPS and voltage required is 15KV and 12,000 symetrical AMPS interruptive capacity. Item 25. Distribution transformer conventional, 15KVA, 14.4-24.9/120-240 V. including loadbreak cutout and lightning arrrester. Offerors may quote cutout and arrester in combo or separately. Cutout capacity must be 100 AMPS and the voltage required is 15KV and 12,000 symetrical AMPS interruptive capacity. The closing date for receipt of proposals is hereby extended to 18 October 2000, 4:00 p.m. El Salvador time. The closing date for receipt of questions or clarifications is 29 September 2000. The clarifications/answers to all questions received by 29 September 2000 will be posted in the internet during the first week of October. Offerors may access the FAR clauses and certifications at the following internet address: http://www.arnet.gov/far/. Offers must be valid for 60 days. The required delivery date has been extended to 60 calendar days after award of the contract. All other terms and conditions of the original synopsis/solicitation remain unchanged.
