- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-19. Solicitation Number 53SBNB060164 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) under FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code is 3589 and the size standard is 500. This is a "brand name or equal requirement," meaning that quotes may be submitted for either the brand name, model numbers and part numbers specified herein or items manufactured by other company(ies) that meet all of the salient, physical, functional and performance characteristics of the brand name(s), model numbers and part numbers specified herein. Brand name or equal descriptions are intended to be descriptive, but not restrictive and are intended to indicate the salient characteristics of products that will be considered satisfactory to meet RFQ requirements. The National Institute of Standards & Technology (NIST) intends to obtain Pumping and Vacuum Components to be used for the Subatomic Displacement Metrology project at NIST. These components shall be compatible with NIST existing magnetic levitation vacuum turbo pumps from Pfeiffer Vacuum. The Contract Line Item Number (CLIN), quantities, and unit issues are as follows: CLIN 0001 1 each Model No. PM P02 682; TMU 1000 MC, Corrosive Turbomolecular Drag Pump, 910 liters/sec, inlet flange 200 CF, for use with TCM 1601. CLIN 0003 1 each Model No. PM C01 675-A; TCM 1601 Magnetic Bearing Electronic Controller; CLIN 0004 1 each Model No. PM 051 011-T; Connection cable, 15 meters, TURBO/TCM1601. CLIN 0005 1 each Model No. PM K01 712; TBB Battery Back-up; CLIN 0006 1 each Model No. PM C01 655; TCS 180 Pumping Unit Control for use with TCM 180. CLIN 0007 1 each Model No. PK T01 076: MVP 100-3 (MD8) Membrane Pump, 4.4cfm, 25 KF inlet, 120V, 60 Hz, with on/off switch. CLIN 0008 1 each Model No. P 4564 309 ZE, Power Cable, 110V, TCP 015, TCM 180, TCM 1601. CLIN 0009 1 each Model No. PT G28 272; TPG 252 DualGauge Compact total pressure display and control unit, 120V/60Hz, controls two compact gauges and includes 2 relays (240V/ 5A). CLIN 0010 2 each Model No. PT R26 002; PKR 251 Compact Pirani/lonization Gauge, 1000 to 5X10-9 mbar. 40cf-flange. Requires 15 to 30 VDC power input.
