Description

NASA/GRC intends to purchase the following items from Struers, Inc. This is a sole source procurement. It is an upgrade to an existing model which is part of a system uniquely designed to polish samples for microscopy. There are existing machines that use the same accessories, parts, and consumables. The items purchased are as follows: Polisher (Quantity 1 each) 7 Micro polisher controlled polisher/grinder uniquely designed to utilize the existing inventory of Struers supplies. 208 volt, 3 phase voltage. Manufacturer: Struers, Inc. Model Number: ABTON Valve (Quantity 1 each) 7 Solonoid Valve required for the recirculator to access tap water for coolkin Manufacturer: Struers, Inc Model Number: ABVEN Connector (Quantity 1 each) 7 Connecting kit for multidoser to the ABRAPOL-2 Manufacture: Struers, Inc. Model Number: MULAT This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12.
