Description

(1) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (2) This solicitation, number APFO00458, is a request for quotation (RFQ). (3) This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-19. (4) This acquisition is unrestricted, not set-aside for business type or size. (5) CLIN 01: One Automatic Aerial Film Contact Printer with Automatic Roll Cutter. (6) Technical Description: Fully automatic contact printer with the following capabilities: print 9.5 x 9.5 inch aerial film rolls, produce color prints and color diapositives form color negatives, adjustable contrast modulation for various materials, automated transport of film and paper, automated control of vacuum and exposure, unattended printer operation, automated dodging for tone matching of adjacent exposures, automated trimming and cutting of printed rolls, production of multiple and varying quantities, warranty installation and training included in price. (7) Delivery on or before November 30, 2000; Installation, training, and final acceptance 15 days after delivery; Delivery FOB Destination at USDA-APFO, 2222 West 2300 South, Salt Lake City, Utah, 84119-2020. (8) Provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial is applicable to this acquisition. (9) Evaluation of offers will be based on price and product meeting technical requirements defined herein. (10) Offerors shall include a completed copy of provision 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, with its proposal. (11) Clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items, is applicable. (12) Clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items, is applicable. (13) Additional contract terms and conditions include a one year warranty.
