Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation prepared in accordance with FAR Part 13. No RFQ will be prepared or made available for distribution; award will be made based on responsive, responsible, and technically acceptable low bids. The government intends to award, on a Sole Source basis, an order for the following items (MFG: Compaq) Item 0001, Refurbished Alpha Computer System, AS800 5/500 running OVMS 6.2-1H3 or Higher, EIP Software License, UltraSCSI Adapter, SVGA graphics, CDROM, Floppy, 1GB of system memory, 3 x 18GB Ultra SCSI Disk Drives, OWMS Version 6.21H3 or higher, 10 User InActive user License, Compaq C Concurrent Use License, Compaq FORTRAN Concurrent User License, OVMS layered product CDROM, 35/70GB S.E. DLT Drive Tabletop, quantity 1 each. Item 0002, ASR800 1GB System Memory, quantity 1 each. Item 0003, RZ28-VA (2GB SCSI Disk Drive), quantity 6 each. Item 0004, StorageWorks Box and Controller (Housing for the 6 RZ28 disk drives), quantity 1 each. This equipment must be compatible with existing Alpha Computer System and will host vital database and web hosting software like Oracle PL/SQL and Java Script. All equipment is refurbished and carries a 30-day warranty and guaranteed eligible for DEC Maintenance. Facsimile quotations may be sent to (619) 553-1062.
