Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the ONLY solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-19. This combined synopsis/solicitation is 100% set aside for all small business concerns. The Standard Industrial Class (SIC) number is 2599 and the small business size standard is 500 employees. Solicitation number DAHA3300T6157 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for the purchase of the suggested Dining Hall (Cafeteria) Furniture. The suggested furniture requested is as follows including the quantity, item number and brief description: (a) 2 Booths, Aster Industries Model No. Booth, Aster #5000 End booths with finished back, both ends, #IND-26, Slate Blue Seat, #126 Twilight back or equal; (b) 3 Centerbooth-Aster Industries Model No. Booth, Aster #5000 Centerbooth with finished back, both ends, #IND-26 Slate Blue seat, #126 Twilight back or Equal; (c) 4 Tabletops -- MTS Seating Model No: Table Top, MTS #315 -- 30 x 44 Table top with (1) natural oak edge #2496 Antique White Dust Top or Equal;d) 4 Tablebase -- MTS Seating Model No: Base, MTS Seating #CI-2230 Table Bases wobble stopper glide, Wedgewood metal finish or Equal;(e) 11 TableTop -- MTS Seating Model No: Table Top, MTS #315 60" Diameter Table Top with (10 Natural Oak edge, #2496 Antique White Dust top or Equal; (f) 33 Table Base -- MTS Seating Model No: Table Base, MTS Seating #CI-522 Table Base with wobble stopper glide, wedgewood metal finish or Equal; (g) 88 Chairs -- MTS Seating Model No. Chair. MTS #594 chairs, wedgewood frame finish #126 Twilight Grade 6 upholstery stack bars or Equal. If you choose to quote other than the suggested brand, please indicate within your bid the manufacturer, model number and provide these specs as an attachment with your bid.The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial Items is hereby incorporated by reference. FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation -- Commercial Items will be made to the offeror who submits the lowest, responsible bid and comparable items. Companies wishing to respond to this solicitation should provide this office with an original copy of a price bid for the requested items using the RFQ package submitted by this office. Each offeror shall include a completed copy of the provisions FAR 52-212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, with Quote. The offeror is required to provide their Contractor's DUNS Code, Tax Identification Number, and Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) Code. The contract clause at FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items is incorporated by reference and applies to this acquisition.
