- Description
- (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) The solicitation number is DAAG60-00-T-0355 and is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). (iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 97-19. (iv) This procurement is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. The associated standard industrial classification code is 3993, with a small business size standard of 500 employees. (v) Item Description. Volleyball Scoreboard, to include delivery and installation, Quantity = 1 each. Offerors shall request complete specifications as indicated below. Please note: The Government is also contemplating the purchase and installation of a Sound System. Offerors are encouraged to review combined synopsis/solicitation DAAG60-00-T-0366. The Government will consider making one award, combining the requirements of DAAG60-00-T-0355 and DAAG60-00-T-0366. Offers will be evaluated on the basis of advantages and disadvantages to the Government that might result from making one award or multiple awards. (vi) Delivery is 30 days after receipt of order (ARO). Point of delivery, installation and acceptance is Gillis Field House, Building 663, United States Military Academy, West Point, NY 10996. (vii) The following FAR provisions apply to this acquisition. The full text of each provision, including any addendums, will be provided with the specifications. 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial; 52.212-2 Evaluation -- Commercial Items; 52.214-21 Descriptive Literature. Each offeror shall include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, with its offer. Each offeror shall include a completed copy of the DFARS provision at 252.225-7035 Buy American Act -- North American Free Trade Agreement Implementation Act -- Balance of Payments Program Certificate, with its offer. (viii) The following FAR and DFARS clauses apply to this acquisition. (ix) Site Visit. Offerors are encouraged to visit the job site on the following date for the purpose of acquainting themselves with all local conditions and to discuss any questions that may arise. Date: Thursday, 21 September 2000. Time: 11:00 AM EST. Offerors will assemble at the front steps of the Gillis Field House, Bldg. 663, USMA, West Point, NY. Parking is available on the side of the building. Offerors who plan to attend the site visit shall confirm their attendance with the point of contact identified below. Please note that this site visit will be for both DAAG60-00-T-0355 and DAAG60-00-T-0366. (x) Offers are due on or before 2:00 PM EST, Tuesday 26 September 2000.
