Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The reference number is F7390002080500 and the solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This is a total small business set-aside. The associated standard industrial classification code is 0783 and the small business size standard is $5.0 Million. There is 0001 contract line item. Scott AFB IL has a need to procure for non-personal services to provide all labor, equipment, material and transportation to prune 200 trees at various Main Base locations. All trees to be pruned will meet Class II National Arborist Associates Standards. The provision at Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors _Commercial, applies to this acquisition. Subparagraph (b)(7) is changed to read: A resulting contract will be subject to FAR 52.232.33 Mandatory Information for Electronic Funds Transfer Payment The FAR provision 52-212-2, Evaluation _ Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. Paragraph (a) is completed as follows: Past Performance and Price. Price is significantly more important in the evaluation criteria. Past performance will be evaluated but not rated. Award will be based on the best value to the government. A completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications _Commercial Items, must be submitted with the proposal. The provision may be copied from website: http://farsite.hill.af.mil. The clause at FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions _ Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders _ Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. The clauses at subparagraph (b)(12), (b)(13), (b)(14), (b)(15), (b)(16), (b)(22), (c)(1), (c)(2), and (c)(3) of 52.212-5 are applicable.
