Description

This is a sole-source solicitation for commercial items. The standard industrial classification code is 7379, Computer Related Services, $18 million. This serves as notice of intent to award a contract to TFE Technology (formerly TELOS Corporation) on a sole-source basis in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1, because only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the Government's requirements. The Defense Logistics Agency Systems Integration Office, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, has a requirement to acquire 24-hour maintenance support for particular computer hardware equipment manufactured by TFE Technology for fiscal year 2001 (1 October 2000 through 30 September 2001). Maintenance support is required to support multiple programs managed by the Defense Logistics Agency Systems Integration Office. These requirements can only be met by keeping the maintenance support current on the TFE Technology computer hardware.
